THE carnival arrives. Oktoberfest, one of the world's most popular festivals, opens this evening at the back garden of Crowne Plaza Shenzhen for six days of revelry.
; The festival features authentic German food and draft beer and a rich culture of Bavarian traditions. Muenchner Musikanten, a Munich band that has been performing at the Oktoberfest in Munich for 15 years, will entertain Shenzheners for the third year . Hailed for their wonderful repertoire of German songs and international pop tunes, the band will whip beer lovers into a dancing frenzy with their wicked antics and fabulous rhythms.
Lucky draws will be held each day.
